Arcstream AV added a new dimension to the work of rock photographer Joe Bangay by presenting it on innovative new canvases at the Rock Renaissance gig at Home House, London this March.

The event was a celebration of the life and work of internationally acclaimed Joe Bangay, with the intention of introducing a new generation of rock lovers to his prestigious pieces. London’s glamorous Home House was the ideal location for the showcase as it has a long and colourful history entwined with contemporary décor and spirit.

Working with clients 2R Art and The Committee, Arcstream AV presented Bangay’s work through an interactive projection in the venue’s hallways, and projections throughout the rooms featuring his prestigious pieces. Arcstream also projected a depiction of the event’s invitation featuring Freddy Mercury onto the outside of Home House which could be seen by guests when approaching the venue, and causing an impact for passers by. The Arcstream team also organised a projected backdrop and stage lighting for acoustic performances by Luke and Hugh from The Kooks, The Neon Empire and Frank Turner.

Lastly, the company’s interactive iBar featured in the drinks reception area, displaying an interactive presentation to entertain guests while they collected bottles of beer from event sponsors Asahi.

“The event was a prestigious retrospective of the work of one of the UK’s most prestigious photographers and we wanted to present his work not just through hung photographs but also through interactive, high impact presentations. The on building projection created a striking initial impact for guests and press and the interactive stairwell projection created a unique and intriguing way for guests to experience Bangay’s photography. This, accompanied by further projections and lighting effects gave the event an extra dimension that clearly contributed to its success.
