Colour Co-ordinate
Arcstream’s solution: Arcstream combined our Living Image interactive floor system and its infrared sensor system with a wall projection to make a 3D virtual game. Players kicked a computer-generated ball from the interactive floor, which appeared to fly toward the posts and hit or miss the goal, depending on how hard and in which direction it was kicked. The stadium was modelled in 3D and included an animated audience who reacted according to the success of the kick.
Geoff Wakefield, Director of Colour Co-Ordinate commented: “Our aim was to raise the standard of corporate hospitality at a sporting event and create a complete memorable experience for all who attended. The inclusion of the penalty-kick game provided a fun, challenging and at times competitive activity that was always busy, both prior to and after the main event. Over 21,000 guests came through the doors over the seven matches and this activity caught the eye and imagination of everyone, no matter what age or gender. Arcstream not only fulfilled the original brief but provided a solution that went along way in this a very successful project for Colour Coordinate.”
