Skylifter now available from Arcstream AV

Arcstream AV is launching the SkyLifter, a huge flying advertising aerostat to the UK event and marketing fraternities.

The SkyLifter is a giant helium filled lenticular shaped aerostat, which is tethered to the ground giving a geostationary platform above. Below the main lenticular is a small pod housing high powered projectors, which means the underside can be used as an 18m diameter projection screen to show any branded materials or logos.

This can be flown to over 75m in the air and can be flown above the audience’s heads at events or utilised as a stunt.

The shape of the SkyLifter ensures reduced aerodynamic drag when compared to a spherical aerostat so it will stay relatively still for the projection, perfect for positioning it for the entire length of an event or exhibition.

Neil Dickinson from Arcstream AV explains;

“The Skylifter was originally designed to carry huge weights below it, creating a flying venue. This is still in the pipeline but in the mean time we decided to incorporate projection into the system, creating a huge flying advertising medium. We think this will be perfect for brands looking to create a huge impact using a brand new technology.”
