The Team
Neil Dickinson – Da Boss
Neil has been on the run with Arcstream AV since 1995 and is one of the criminal masterminds behind the gang. Neil has been unstoppable due to his ambition and success in always bringing the next big thing to the forefront of the industry. Prior to Arcstream, Neil did time as a mobile disco technician for private parties and corporate events. He then went on tour with Jim Davidson where he worked as a lighting designer and technician, later moving into the new fields of video and laser technology, capturing them at the forefront of their development and incorporating them into live stage shows.
He then became an accessory to CSE and the British Forces Foundation where he fled the country touring across regions such as Kosivo, Bosnia, and Iraq on the live shows and concerts that are organised for the troops serving in those countries.
Neil enjoys the challenge of finding new solutions to bring to the events and exhibition industry.
Wayne Haxton – Grease Man
Wayne is the other co conspirator of the gang, responsible for its formation in 1995 with Neil. His dedication to innovation keeps him one step ahead of the competition as they can never tell what jaw dropping venture he will be off on next.
He first developed an interest in sound at the age of 12 when he purchased one of the first available CD players and used this as a basis to build and develop speaker boxes.
The first gang he was officially a member of was Paul Farrah Sound where he was responsible for supplying major theatre and West End shows such as Cats with their sound equipment. From there he was next seen running a gang called Power, Sound and Light providing systems to major productions such as Rain Dance, Moon Dance and Living Dream. This led him to fall in with The Prodigy where he went on the run in the touring scene, learning more about lighting and special effect technology. From here he fell into the company of Neil and the pair set up the events division of a major special effects compnay before breaking out into Arcstream AV.
Neil Manwaring – Wise Guy
Neil has a long history of involvement in the event and exhibition crime scene prior to Arcstream AV. He joined Arcstream’s gang because he was excited by the challenge of creating bespoke solutions to fit a brief.
He has previously headed an operation for AV rental company ATC providing unique solutions for clients within the aviation and defence industry. He then became an Event Organiser with Fairs & Exhibitions operating in Dubai, before going on to manage his own supply focused business in the Middle East.
He is charged with bringing new business to the gang as well as heading up the organisation and their exploits. Neil has recently been spotted on the golf course where he boasts a handicap of 2 and at White Hart Lane supporting Tottenham.
Lucy Powell-Tuck– Golden Girl
Lucy is a recent recruit to the gang and comes well prepared for life on the run having previously done time on the experiential event scene.
Lucy first came to the attention of the authorities when she was working with experiential agency Evolite working for notorious campaign masterminds Muller Vitality, managing the logistics for shopping centre sampling campaigns and analysing the results to advise future plans. From here she fell into the company of experiential agency Vibe organising the field marketing strategy for clients spanning a number of sectors including ING Direct, Nationwide and Visit London, one scheme for which included the creation of an urban beach in Sheffield.
Lucy’s expertise was spotted by agency Instinct where she was one of the ringleaders planning breakouts for clients such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Virgin Trains.
Her degree in Geography and extensive travelling around the World means that she also doubles up as get away driver for the gang.
