Neil Dickinson – Director

Neil was part of the dynamic duo who founded Arcstream AV in 1995. He started work in the AV industry as a roadie at the ripe old age of 16, developing into and AV, PA and Lighting technician, his ever changing role helped him to quickly acquire a wealth of experience and expertise.

Neil’s favourite Arcstream product?
“The Living Image Floor system because it has endless possibilities for designers and it never fails to draw a crowd no matter how you use it!”

And one of his favourite projects?
“One project which was particularly memorable was the after show party for the Princess Diana memorial concert at Wembley where Arcstream supplied four large interactive floors, it provided the star studded guests and us with endless entertainment.”

Wayne Haxton – Director

Wayne worked alongside Neil to co found Arcstream AV in 1995. His passion for the AV industry started over 16 years ago when he started working as a sound technician touring with theatre shows, quickly followed by work with concerts, large laser shows and work with large multi-media water screens.

As well as hands on project management and show design, Wayne is heavily involved in the search for and implementation of new technologies at Arcstream.

Wayne’s favourite Arcstream product?
“Probably the Living Image interactive floor because of its flexibility for individual client’s creative concepts and needs, it works brilliantly whether it’s for branding, themed imaging, tag lines or videos.”

And one of his favourite projects?
“My favourite project with Arcstream was the design and build of Winter Gardens nightclub in Great Yarmouth which involved installing a lighting structure, sound systems and a set of stunning lasers. It was all our own design from beginning to end.”

Martin Kapp – Technical Manager

Martin first started working for Arcstream AV as a freelancer but was lured into full time work with the Arcstream team 3 years ago. As the technical manager he is the driving force in developing new technologies. His expertise is with lasers which he first started working with in 1992 and has since streamed into optics, control and problem solving systems.

Martin’s favourite Arcstream product?
“My new favourite Arcstream product is the soon to be launched PlasMotion. It allows designers to programme spinning plasmas with complimentary content, which when it’s implemented looks amazing.”

And one of his favourite projects?
“We worked on a rave with 30,000 people, where Arcstream installed a 10 foot wide river which flowed through a tent and featured a laser show for entertainment. Subsequently the mud which was a consequence of the river made it tricky to remove the laser equipment but the team persevered, wading through the mud, with the tent collapsing around them and then headed straight off to their next gig!

Brett Salmon – CEO

Brett has more than 25 years experience of technical management and production in the areas of video, music and special events. More recently Brett has focused on production of large-scale spectaculars around the world for the theme park and leisure industry including the role of Project Director for the award winning 'Stone Forest' themed attraction in Kunming, PR China – THEA Award Winner 2000

Brett’s favourite Arcstream product?
“Working on large scale spectaculars and attractions I’m not sure I have a ‘favourite’ product - it’s more a mix of all the technologies we offer, combined of course with good creativity and design that makes each project thrilling and unique.”

And one of his favourite projects?
“The Santander F1 event, Barcelona. Utilising the ArcSphere projection dome for the venue made this high profile event stunning on every level.”

Liao Yan Hong – Marketing Director Arcstream China

Yan Hong has 12 years experience in the multimedia industry having involvement in some of the largest outdoor audio-visual spectaculars within China. As Arcstream AV’s Marketing Director stationed in Shenzhen, PRC, Yan Hong offers frontline sales and after sales service for Arcstream AV’s clients within China and South East Asia.

Yan Hong’s favourite Arcstream product?
“Water Show Spectaculars as they make so many people happy!”

And one of her favourite projects?
“Opening event for Shanghai F1. Working for Shanghai City Government Arcstream created a unique multimedia show spectacular on a cruise boat floating on the Huang Pu river. The show was viewed from Pu Dong in front of the famous Pearl Tower – unforgettable!”

Cherri Farrell – Office Manager

Cherri joined Arcstream this year and is the angel of the office, looking after the admin and keeping the team on the road with logistical and planning support. An invaluable member of the team, Cherri’s unflappable exterior makes her popular with clients and the team alike!

Cherri’s favourite Arcstream product?
“My favourite Arcstream product has got to be the Living Image System. I never saw one before I came to Arcstream and a year on I still think it is an amazing product. I like the way you can adapt it to pretty much anything you want and also the way it draws people in and brings a great atmosphere to any event. ”

And her favourite projects?
“I haven’t really had a most manic day in the office…luckily most of the manic stuff that occurs doesn’t need my assistance so I can stay relaxed whilst the other guys panic and run around stressed. Lol. My most enjoyable days have got to be going to the exhibitions and meeting potential clients and knowing that the exhibition was a success and worth doing. ”
